Scam Targets Performers

I posted this on Michigan  -- a website I maintain, but this is bigger than just Michigan.

Scam Alert Targeting Performers with Websites

(The company is unnamed here as there may be more than one.  Wouldn't want to have a slander problem either, but the method deserves mentioning for the safety of my fellow performers)

Storytellers and possibly other performers are being targeted…

Entering the digital age (Gneiting)

Upon rising in the morning I think, "what can I contribute to this art?" For the past year and a half I've wondered. The more I read the folktales of bygone eras and behold the majesty of today's tellers, the more I cry inside. "Here is healing! Here is wisdom! Nurturing A Storytelling Group - Post #3 by Mimi Rockwell

I promised I'd let you know how our parking lot sale on June 7 turned out. Unfortunately, we chose one of the hottest days so far this year--94 degrees by noon. Six members (including I) were there shortly after 7:00 a.m. to set up and begin to sell at 8:00. There were 75 other yard sales listed in the newspaper for that day including several large churches and the Bristol TN High School, only a few blocks away.
