Three and Half more days.

In three and half more days of teaching I will be leaving my teaching position for the last 33 years. I have left on a high note after receiving the Learning Disabilities Association Indiana State Teacher of the Year for 2007-2008 school year. I will miss the students and friends I have had and going to school each day. I know a new door is opening for me to step through to do full time professional storytelling. 55th Birthday Gary Wittmann

I am excited about May 6, 2008 because I will be turning 55 years old. The other excitement is I will be completing 33 years as a Special Education Teacher in Ferdinand, Indiana. This year has been filled with lots of excitement because I was recognized by the Learning Disabilities Association as Indiana State Teacher of the Year 2007. What a way to end a career!
