Will be doing Ghost Tales for a Local Historic Site

I am looking forward to this! A well known landmark home is doing a fundraiser and will be offering storytelling and a candlelight tour for the season. The lovely Overholser Mansion in OKC (http://www.overholsermansion.org/) will be the setting. It will start in the Carriage House and go through the house. THE RIPPLING BREEZE BETWEEN THE WORLDS

I love October...the crunchy leaves, the chilly nights...and the drama and imagination of Halloween. GREEN LIGHT FOR DEVELOPING A STORYTELLING COURSE!

The administration has given a green light to develop a storytelling course to be offered to the community and that can also be taken (with additional activity and costs) as an elective by students. I would love to hear recommendations for 'textbooks', great resources, online video samplings, and anything else. Continue

"Stories2Go" is Revving its engine!

A small troupe has formed in Oklahoma, "Stories2Go", to present a program of story theater for appearances at events, summer reading programs,churches, and the like. NEW STORYTELLING ASSOCIATION LAUNCHES IN OKLAHOMA

Producing a "Tellabration!"

I am working with the state storytelling group and a local university to produce a Tellabration this November. It should be fun in a newly rennovated auditorium. Telelrs are local tellers who are sure to charm the target audience: Kathryn Thurman, Chester Weems, and Molly "Molly Lou Belle" Lemmons. I will MC and serve as emergency space filler, as needed.
