Historical Storytelling - Storytelling for Historic Site, Museum, and Parks Interpretation

Dale Jarvis, St. John’s, NL, 2009 Heritage tourism is a growing business, and there are countless museums, parks and interpretation centres where the story of our past is told and retold. Notes from the Fairy Path: The Woodcutter

What follows is a bit of an experiment! I've been toying with the idea of recording some short little local fairy stories, on the sites where they happened. Storytelling in Newfoundland and Labrador - Fall Report

Storytelling continues in Newfoundland and Labrador! This summer was no exception, with lots of events and activities. Kelly Russell was busy all summer with the "Time in Pigeon Inlet" project in Bay Roberts, which was a truly immersive event, with enactments of Ted Russell's works and story telling, songs, Newfoundland dance, and traditional Newfoundland food. It was immensely popular. More information at http://www.pigeoninlet.ca In St. John's, the New… Continue
