Share a Story - Change the World

I found this story in an old collection of tales by Maud Lindsay called the Story-Teller. It's no longer under copyright, and might make a good addition to a Christmas program. It's a little on the sweet side, but counterbalance it with something funny or strange--or it might be useful for Sunday school classes. You can access the story by clicking here. . Leave a comment on my blog to let me know if you visited! I'ts always nice to visit other tellers.

Hi Granny Sue.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful story. It's not easy to find a Christmas story that both children and adults can enjoy. Let's hear it for the treasures to be found in antique books!

Best wishes,
Glenda

You're welcome, Bonnie. I know that new-to-us Christmas stories are hard to come by, so I thought this was a good one to share.

This is a great story, I would love to share it with my Kindergarten story time. It's like "The gift of the Magi" but on a child's level. Thanks for sharing!
