I found this story in an old collection of tales by Maud Lindsay called the Story-Teller. It's no longer under copyright, and might make a good addition to a Christmas program. It's a little on the sweet side, but counterbalance it with something funny or strange--or it might be useful for Sunday school classes. You can access the story by clicking here. .
