Share a Story - Change the World
I have made a presentation of characters in Norwegian folklore. We note a particularly growing interest in folklore, so you can look at this as an attempt to display a list of characters as a resource to work with in different media.
The ”study” is a pilot project of "chromosomes". The basis for this presentation, that is not complete, is books published by ”Norsk folkeminnelag” in the period 1921 - 1990. I wanted to see the characters as they have been presented in the "people's mouths." Most of these legends are written down as "they were told," on dialect and often incomplete as narratives. Interpretation material will come afterwards, where I look at Kristeva ’s "abjekt" and Lüthis distinction between folk tales and legends.
