I've just returned from working at Colchester Castle Museum in Essex where I have been busy telling medieval tales all week. Five sessions a day with over fifty people at each session. It was a popular event and was planned to run along side a temporary exhibition of medieval artifacts at the castle. In particular a carved corbel of a very merry monk caught my eye and I've written about it on my Diary of an Itinerant Storyteller blog
. He's definately worth a look as he's a wonderful looking fella; as wonderful as many of the stories about monks and friars from his time!
