July, 21st, 2012 - Idlewild duo with Laraine Miner - Dave and Carol Sharp - The Utah Pioneer Heritage Arts and the Draper Arts festival present Stories and music of the Western Pioneers with Idlewild duo - 8:00 to 9:00 pm stories and music with a dance called by our long time friend Laraine Miner 9:00 to 10:00 pm. Stories of the early Pioneers of Utah from our family histories. We are honored to present stories of John Sharp the Railroad Bishop and the building of the trans-continental Railroad. Ann Rogers Snow and the Handcart Pioneers, along with adventures of the Sharp Brothers and emmigrating to Utah. Just a few of the many stories about our ancestors and the settling of the west. Traditional and original music to accompany the stories. There will also be an Old Time Utah dance afterword with Laraine Miner caller.

We will be at the Historic Day Dairy Barn at the Pioneer Square in Draper, Utah 1200 East on 12500 South, parking will be at the new Draper Library just south of the Barn. This will be a large festival on Saturday so come early and be sure to get the tour.
