Share a Story - Change the World

HELLO hello fellow word warriors

I am hitting the road again this Autumn and traveling to the delightful National Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough Tennessee for my inaugural performance on their grand stage.  Hoping to meet in person some of the folks I have only found on here electronically.  See you there?

Also doing a two week tour around Switzerland (I am told it is quite small), so for more information on that please contact me on clare@claremurphy.org as the details are being worked out still.  But I will be in Geneva, Zurich and Berne from Nov 13th-24th.

Hoping the wide world of words goes well with you all

I saw you in Jonesborough- absolutely lovely. Oh, do you remember the gentleman who gave you the belt? He's now on a kick of collecting Irish tales. In fact, last night's episode of "Grimm", which nodded to "Jack & the Beanstalk", reminded him to look up Finn McCool. There was a whole text conversation between us about the value of biting one's thumb. :)

How did I miss this!? I should have come & said Hello to the newest "Did you hear" winner! It was my inaugural performance, but on a much smaller scale. I summed up my courage and told at the Swappin' Ground for the first time. When I was volunteering at the registration table later that afternoon, my cohorts found out about my earlier telling and insisted that I perform for them. I was nice to have an encore. How do you think you did yourself? The two story sets I heard were most fun and I'm tempted to steal some material, love. :)
