Dear Patricia:

I would love for you to start a discussion in the YES! group on Professional Storyteller since you have such a wonderful conversation going about telling to 4-7-year-olds.

Could I count on you to do that? Then I will feel better to share my thoughts rather than the Comment section.

Until we tell again,

Rachel Hedman

I have a background in teaching too! I am a puppeteer that incorporates songs into all of my shows (mini-musicals) my shows are really all about the participation and seems like we have a lot in common. I wish you weren't so far away I would love to see a show.

Hi Pam!
Sounds like your process might be making more progress than mine. I work full time as a kindergarten teacher and lately, that has taken up much of my time with spring projects and IEPC meetings. I have managed to record two tracks of guitar for a "back up" of a song for one part of my CD. I have fewer gigs planned for this summer than last summer, so that may also help with my time management and getting things done. It's all a matter of goal setting and proper planning. I just love this site, because reading what other people are doing really motivates me energizes me, and keeps me going when I might feel more like taking a nap!! Thanks for checking in on me. It's great to hear that you are also making step by step progress. Next time, I will check in on you:)

I just wondered how the CD process is coming for you? I go into the studio this coming Tuesday to record my first CD. I have worked very hard to get to this point - rehearsing, photo shoot, etc., etc., etc.... I can't wait to get it done.

Keep me up on your progresss.

Thanks for the warm greetings. Over the last few years since I took my part time telling to a full-time status - I have enjoyed corresponding and learning from new storytelling friends. I love this format where I don't have to worry about being spammed - where I can trust the individuals writing to me! I also like seeing the pictures - to help me get to know folks better when I attend national events.

Best to you!

Go to GROUPS, click on the Biblical Storytelling photo, and there's an option to Send to Group, or something like that - press the magic button and, Presto!, all of us receive your email - cool, eh?

How do I share with the group? I am really glad the group is growing also. I feel blessed and excited to be a part of all of this. ( and maybe a little overwhelmed, wondering what God has in store for me) Anyway, it's nice to read what people have to say and respond when I get the chance.
God bless

Excellent, Tricia -

Thank you so much for sharing. Did you post this to the Group? I sure want the rest of us to see what you did.

We're growing, slowly, but growing - we're now a "10" and I am really tickled.

Have a blessed day - and, thanks so much for the excellent work on your 'assignment.'

In Him,

Thanks for your kind words....I am thinking over that poem thing...

I am still working on getting your power point open too. Since the memorial service, I have been busy catching up on stuff at home, work, and bible study. (I am in a group) That full time job thing really cuts into my "laying around time"...

Still singing my song

I noticed in a comment that your father-in-law died. I'm sorry for your lost, and may you and your family have enough time support each other and remember together.
