Hey, just wanted to say Helllllllllllloooooooooo and wish you a Happy New Year! What new exciting things are taking place in your storytelling world? For me and a group of storytellers, GRIOTS that I tell with a getting ready like so many others for a busy time of the year.
Please let me know when you perform in the Midwest as I would enjoy hearing you share stories.
I want to be your friend. I've "met" you across the room at the NSN conference and then saw and heard you from a distance at Jonesboro. I've never been close enough to really meet you. I love your laughter - it's contagious.
I'm doing great! The baby is adorable and now 4 & 1/2 months old.
Unfortunately, I will not be going to the conference this year because y'all scheduled it right during the Minnesota Fringe Festival! I think you will loose a large part of your MN constituency this year. I'm hoping no more conferences will be scheduled during the first 2 weeks of Aug--this is the first one I will miss since I found out NSN existed (and since I met you).
How is life treating you?
A few years ago you sent my daughter recipes for vegetarians. Thanks. We've moved from Texas and now live in New Mexico. Hmmmm, well we were in New Mexico when we met you. It was during the time my daughter was performing for the National Storytelling festival in 2003 or 2004. She was the young 14 or 15 year old with locks. Good to see you on the network. Keep laughing!
Dear Michael, Thanks so much for your amazing stories at FSA story camp. WOW! I loved them all and meeting someone with an enormous laugh that fills the room WOW! I love the African folktales and the personal stories! What a great time we had thanks to you. Thanks also for the suggestions on how to totally embarrass your kids when they graduate. Ada
