Yes, indeed. Not a terribly good banjo player, but people seem to enjoy it.

Thanks for the welcome!

hi Richard,
Am working/collaborating on a beautiful Yiddish evening long tandem show about the journey of a melody. We'll play the piece in both SF and LA and not sure where you live, but hope you can come to a performance.

Hi Richard
I'm new to this site so just finding my way around, when I have the time!

I work in Scotland, and run storytelling groups with people with addictions and a history of homelessness, as well as other types of storytelling. You seem a talented musician as well as a storyteller!

Dear Richard,
Surrealist Morris Dancing. What is it? That is a good question. In the UK a few years back the licening laws on public performance changed making it much more restrictive as to what done without applying to the local courts for the correct licence (and fee!!!).

However Morris Dancers were excluded. So by performing surrealist morris dancing, (which by definition can mean anything), I can "do my thing" and stay within the law.

Now does that make sense?

Hello Richard.
Thanks for the welcome and for visiting my site
Do you create any original stories of your own for telling in your shows?
Or do you draw from the well of story told?

We are very excited about it...WE hope this would be an avenue to bring Storytellers from all over the world together to share stories. I am working with the Jonesborough Storytelling Guild and we hope this becomes an annual event.

Hi, Richard - great to make the connection. I've been slow catching on to what's available on the ning. I'm living in Kelowna, British Columbia, these days - with fond memories of my time in Oakland.

Richard, I know the Theater used to be quite well known, but have not heard anything about it for years. I did a Google search and found many references on people's resumes, but nothing current.
