Hello Lynne, Thanks for your request to link - I have been off the site for a while and only just back so forgive the non-response if it's been there for ages. Alex

Lovely to make contact! Just got back from England's Festival At The Edge where I was MC'ing - some fantastic tellers - saw Dovie Thomason for the first time too. Best wishes, Sophie

Hello Lynne,

It will be nice to get to know you! I am on my way home form the Storytellers of Canada conference which was held in Victoria, BC Canada. We drove from Ontario Canada and driving home through the States. I am in Oacoma SD - will follow up when I get home in about 4 days or so. I am a fond teller of musical stories and songs which I feel also heal - all stories are therapeutic in some way, even if they make is laugh, "eh?" (interjecting Canadianism)

Hi Lynne, I am happy to be your friend! I love your quotes on your site. I also believe music heals the soul. I was in a world music choir (A Capellago) in Christchurch, New Zealand. We sang a capella, as well as with rhythm and drums. We sometimes sang songs similar to your wood vibe piece. Love it!

Your one-woman show 'Dark Matter' sounds fascinating. If only there was a way for us in other parts of the world to experience it. I wish I had a Star Trek transporter.

Hi Lynne,

Thanks for adding me as your friend. I love your wood vibes piece. I'm enjoying the different parts of this forum very much - I keep finding more layers, and following links and meandering through the forum that way is fascinating.

Your Dark Matter performance sounds fascinating! It seems (from what I could discern of its description from your website) to be very much in line with what I'm currently learning from A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle. I wish you much success and inner expansion with that performance.

Dear Lynne:

Here is a belated welcome to you for joining the "College Big Cats: Tracking and Capturing Gigs" group.

Your tandem partner, Lawrence Howard, has also come on board so I asked him if now you would do a tandem discussion? I think that would be exciting.

You may have noticed the e-Course there on basic marketing for college venues.

Until we tell again,

Hi Lynn. The photo. Hmm... it was actually taken in an elevator in Prague. The elevator had a mirror on the ceiling!

I love my work in cultural research, especially as it relates to oral and cross-cultural communication. And I've found this website to be really stimulating -- I'm enjoying the chance to intereact with others involved professionally in the storyteller/storytelling world. I love your blog entry "Blogs, Social Networks, and Storytellers", btw. Great stuff!

Your work, too, sounds fascinating. I love this part and say a hearty "amen": " work is focused on the spoken and written word as effective communication tools; a means for connecting us with each other and ourselves." I feel that is also what I do.

I look forward to learning a lot from you! Best wishes. STEVE
