Hi Kim, I'm glad to know that you will be returning to the stage again in Laurinburg next April for their storytelling festival - Festival of Carolina. I hope your storytelling travels are going well and I'll look forward to seeing you next April.
Take care, Sylvia Payne
Hi Kim, I just wanted to connect with you before the Cape Girardeau festival. We are both regional storytellers. I'm looking forward to meeting you this year.
I am from Kansas City, MO, but have been to Tennessee many times for the National Festival.
Talk to you soon, I hope. Joyce Slater
Woo hoo! Looks like you just made a CDBaby sale of a copy of your CD from one of the sidebar links at Storyteller.net. Good on You! Wishing you many more sales.
Hey Kim, Hope you had a good Turkey day. I managed not to eat too much. (good Christian lying right there) Anyway, would you kindly check my new blog here. Many, many thanks, Anthony

Hey you! It was great to finally truly connect with you in J'boro! Here's to the next time we get to swap stories and explore cemeteries :-)

Hey Kim,
I hear you're coming to Idaho in Feb! So cool, we'll definitely have time to connect one way or the other. I'll look for you on the streets of J'boro this week.

Kim, pleasure to see you this weekend, and yes I did my parental duty and brought my teenage son to embarrass him, however he killed me when he turned to me after your story and whispered, "Dad, what's a dead 'sea-squirrel'? Thought I should share. My best, Anthony B. p.s. next time you are at the beach, watch out for those sea-squirrels.

Hey Kim,
I was talking about open tunings either open D or open G where just strumming the guitar gives you a chord, and you sound cool without even trying. Free lesson next time I see you!

Hey Kim!
Our house seems so quiet and empty since you left this AM. Hope the car is rolling steadily and safely. What a full time during your visit. These were days lived well, very well. See you next week in Williamsburg. I'll be the guy in periwig, knee breeches and cod-piece,. Can I say that on this space? Maybe not. Later.

Woohoo! Kim, did we not have a great time in Ohio? I got home, unpacked and zombied around before finally giving in and taking a nap. I must be getting old.
But hey, the guy at Wal-Mart ID'd me because he said he had to ask anyone who looked under 40 for ID. I felt like giving him a $5 tip!
Yet another new monicer.......Kim's GPS. I am honored :o)

Hey Kim!
Lovely to finally meet you at Timp. I look forward to the day we can actually chat! Perhaps at the National Festival? By the way, my tween daughters (story listener snobs to be sure) throughly enjoyed your performances.

Kim:
You are on for 9/11. What time will you be getting to Richmond? I have a storytelling class in the morning and you're more than welcome to join in. Also, will you be wanting to stay over on the 12th? This is erev Rosh Hashanna (the Jewish New Year) and you are welcome to join in this also. Especially if you can blow a shofar!
Les
Hi Kim!
I am glad that I found you here...I met you at David's "audition" at the Cranberry Thistle this summer. This is not a recent photo...in fact when we met I had just got all my hair cut off...yikes!
I hope to see you at the NSN festival!
over and out...debbie
You look familiar to me, too! Could it have been a conference...NSN maybe or at the festival in Jonesborough? I don't get out here much either but it is a nice place to meet with folks you don't often see. Let me know if you figure out where we met and I'll do the same.
Enjoy your new season in life...mine started in 2001 and it has been a real treat to follow my passion!
Ahhh, burnout. Recognize that one but the unny thing is that iff your work is connected to storytelling, sooner ot later you'll wind up doing the work or some variation on the work again. Burn out, lie fallow or sow the seeds of a different variety - to use a old turn of phrase, "to everything there is a season." If you're going to be at the NSN conference, we should have a conversation.
