Hi Diane, Came across The Goat in the Jalapeno patch while searching for a story for my after school program Internatonal potluck harvest party. Would like your permission to tell with credit to you of course! Our children are from Mexico, Peru, Domincan Repulic and Puerto Rico. Im planning one story from each. Thanks, Carolyn Stearns
Dear Diane, I wanted to congratulate you on this resource which you have created. I have just put a link from our website www.storygardenz.com. Our idea is to place storytellers on a geographic map (mapz of imagination) together with special places with a living story so that we can establish presidiums of oral traditions and allow people to come into contact through new forms of tourism. We began about 2 years ago and already have some institutional partners. A US film has just been completed on my work, landscapes and stories. (Going DA-DO) We are having a preview in Philadelphia on the 27th November. Want to come ? In any case I am looking forward to working with Professional Storyteller and drawing attention to it. Yours Bernard (Dado) Anson Silj
I was just wondering if it is possible to contact a group of storytellers on this site that are not in a group, like all the storytellers from Wyoming for example. It would be nice if you're going to Wyoming and would like to get a feel for the area.

Whew...Dianne, you're so busy you make my head spin. I finally decided to go the Kaizen way and take my professional career step by step. I was a bit perplexed because I've done so much in more than 15 years it was beginning to feel like a hodge podge of soupy muck. So, in a moment of quiet meditation...amazing but true...I saw your 1999 version of The Professional Storyteller's Business Handbook. Honestly, I don't remember when I purchased it but it's one of 3 book/programs I'm planning to follow while organizing my business from soup to solid. I suggested an aquaintence of mine from Santa Fe, New Mexico go to The Professional Storyteller Website. I told her about your book...she's looking for direction in her newly found career. I suggested she connect with you and get your book. Her name is Randi but she is also going by her new name as she was inducted into a spiritual Jewish community calling. I hope she touches base with you soon.
Thank you so much, Dianne! Truly, I have found this site inspiring, already!! Looking forward to seeing and learning more. Congratulations on your recent children storie published! Will certainly read them!!
Hello Dianne, Thank You for all you do. I have been following you for a long time through your website adn bought your book StoryBiz recently among others and you are a true inspiration. The Storytelling community is amazing and has changed my life a great deal. With you, Caren Neile and so many wonderful positive people we will succeed, I will be doing my first telling that will include some of my own stories for a Halloween party. I couldn't have done it without such a supportive community.

Dianne, I finally broke down, put a crow bar in my wallet and bought your book, Story Biz. (I've known I needed it for a long time but I'm cheap and $45 is a lot.)
On the test in the front, you say "if you check 3 or more..." What if you checked them all? What does that tell you?
Thanks for the book
