Hi Peggy and Gene, This is a good place to keep in touch. It comes with pictures too. Shall we be friends? I did not yet check, but I will need a mailing address for you, long about April, when I hope to have a printed tandem book to send you. Proofs should come soon and I will email that. I was just talking with Connie Pottle about you. She was asking about the book. I remembered she used to live in Texas and was a good friend of Elizabeth. We enjoyed sharing about you. She is anxious to get a book and read your fine article. Happy storytelling. Jonatha

Hi Peggy,

Yes, this is a great way to connect isn't it. Took a look at your website and liked it. You certainly are busy!

I am taking things a little easier workswise this year than I have in the last 10 years and I find myself wondering how I used to manage to get so much done!

Thanks so much for your comments re Asian Tales. I do love that part of the world and seem to spend much time either telling there or sharing tales "from there." By the way, if you want a few more ideas for Asian tales, do visit my web site - it has stories and a list of my books. Some of them are published abroad so not so well known here, but useful to those exploring Asia (and of course I have copies ):):). All the best as you keep sharing! Cathy Spagnoli

Hi, Peggy & Gene! We have met several times at the Texas Storytelling Festival in Denton. However, it has been several years since I have been able to always seems to fall during Holy Week...and I have my church responsibilities to care for during that time. I am hopeful that next year I'll be able to attend again.

I remember the year I was invited to tell in the Tall Tales concert/contest. I was confused with Richard Dockery-Young all weekend. I also have fond memories of getting together with the late Chuck Larkin for impromptu musical jam sessions as well as being invited to Denton resident's homes from time to time for afterglow parties. I look forward to renewing those some of those relationships!

Greetings Gene and Peggy:

I believe the last time I saw you two was in Denton? I did the Pammy More Mother of Four story...the ficticious story I created after my friend, and homeschooling mom passed away in a terrible car accident in Nigeria. I hope you remember the tale. In anycase, I honor her memory with that story as part of my one-woman show "Maternal Dreamer". I'm really happy to see the two of you on the network.

Peace and Love,
