I actually perform the material, Tom. I do my best to "channel" a younger Golda Meyerson (she did not become Meir until the 1950s), based on my research.

The filming will be done at a special performance for those (friends and fellow performers) who have supported me throughout these two years.

A "living history" (at least the format I've chosen to do) is just an hour-long event. My performance is a 43-minute monologue, broken down into 5 scenes. Then I do a Q & A in character for 10 minutes; the final 10 minutes is a Q & A as myself--the author and presentor.

I am working on a two-hour stage show with an intermission. I have plenty of material, so it's just a matter of choosing the best pieces.

Thank you for your kind thoughts!!

Do you "present" or perform the material? Are you Golda, or Helen telling us about Golda?

Where is your filmed performance to be held? What is the running time? Intermission?
Sorry for so many questions, but I did something similar years ago, and am just trying to get a sense of what you're about.

Regardless, I KNOW how frightening, how thrilling, how overwhelming, how depressing, how exhausting, how exhilarating such a project can be.

Wishing you the very best with this one - that it exceeds even your fondest visions of what might be.

Please keep me posted - thanks, and Break a Leg!

You're most welcome, Tom! And, it is my goal to add to the audio/video at some point.

FYI, I've just completed the living history of a very different type of project, that of the early years of Golda Meir. Entitled: Golda--Letters to Mama. I will have a performance filmed in early December for marketing purposes and place a snippet or two on my website and on this site, as well.

Hey, Helen -

You are a masterful/hysterical Dr. Ruth!

And you're a knockout on the drum.
It would be a shame if you were anyone other than your quirky self - congratulations on embracing who you are.

You know the old adage, "Always leave'em wantin' more" ? Well, Kiddo, you done it!

Hope all is going well for you -

Best Wishes, and thanks for the smiles....
