Just wanted to remind all of you that my book Bees, Beetles, Butterflies and Other Beguiling Bugs: Folklore, Songs and Stories From Around the World is still available as a FREE downloadable PDF file at

It's 166 pages, 125 stories with contributions from 32 storytellers. Because of its length and the number of full-color photographs, it may take a while to download (some report up to 5 minutes), depending on the speed of your computer. So be patient...
At the end of August I will be taking it off the Internet, so if you think you will ever want bug stories to tell in the future, now's the time to get this huge, free collection.

Thank you so much for sharing this collection of bug stories! I have used your Bug Book as a resource this summer, particularly when a librarian has requested that I tell a story about a particular kind of bug/critter I had not included in my summer lineup.
