About Me:
I have been telling stories for years. I got my start as a baby-sitter in my teens, then my next audience was my four children and now I tell to many delighted audiences. At five feet tall, I loves "short" stories from around the world, and personal stories. Tales come alive as the different characters jump from my mouth and into the ears of my listeners.
I started a storytelling festival at my local elementary where I coach children to tell stories and am a past president of the Utah Storytelling Guild. Stories connect us together; they bring us joy and smiles. I LOVE STORYTELLING.

“She is really enthusiastic and makes you feel like you are in the story.”
Lexi Strader
7th Grade Student

“I could listen to Janine’s stories for days – and I would reschedule my plans in order to do so! Her stage presence draws audiences in like fish to water.”

Hi Janinne,

It's always good to hear from friends from the Utah Storytelling Guild. I hope to catch up on my dues soon and make it out to one of the Chapter meetings. It's always inspiring.

Hey Janine,

Your youth tellers did a great job at the Weber Festival! I was glad to see them in such good hands.

Janine, Thanks again.
Yes, Story Swap was a huge effort, but it turned out well and the tellers who attended got some really good coaching and telling time. Watch for the review in the Taleswapper, we are going to do another in November.

Happy, happy. Karl

Janine,
You got rave reviews from all the teachers and students at Polk for your wonderful stories during the school outreach. Thank you for giving the kids such a terrific experience with storytelling. :-) Karl Behling, Storyteller

So you made it after all! Thank you for responding to my invite.

You inspire me with youth storytelling and I know you will be a great resource for many people on this site (including me).

Until we tell again,
