Dear Andrea:

That is great about the radio show. Is there any way to listen to it online?

A "long" time ago (2004), the Voices of the Valley Storytelling Guild--Central California area, created a CD called "Our Valley Veterans--Personal Stories of World War II".

Since I was too young to have a "personal" story, I interviewed Marcus Mortensen and pieced his tale. He has since passed on and his family has a recorded version of the interview and the story to keep.

I admit that this story was my first recording so I went way too fast in sharing the story. Yet, everyone else did a high-class job and know you would enjoy it.

Perhaps we'll see each other at a storytelling conference.

Until we tell again,

Rachel Hedman
