About Me:: As a musical storyteller, I perform tales from around the world with authentic musical instruments and dances from each culture. Some of the other shows I perform are: Pecos Bill Rides the Oregon Trail, the Spirit of Vaudeville, The Irish Minstrel, Sea Songs Yarns and Hornpipes, and Holiday Troubadors. All these combine storytelling, music and dance. They are accompanied by guitarist Paul Byrne.

Gerald Fierst and I have performed for many years as the Mythmakers. Some of our shows include: Monsters and Minstrels, Ancient Tales/Antique Music, American Tall Tales, Jewish Folktales and Klezmer Music, and The Reading Bugs. We told our version of Urashima Taro at the MAST gathering a number of years ago.

In addition I perform musical story theatre with actor/mime/ percussionist Craig Babcock. These shows are: Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp, The Emporers New Clothes, and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.

I mostly perform in schools, care centers, and libraries. I also work as a musician in and Irish band, a Country/Bluegrass and, and a Dixieland Jazz band.

Before focusing on performing for family audiences I worked as an actor on Broadway, the Kennedy Center and in several Equity tours of Shakespeare.

When not performing, I teach banjo, mandolin, bagpipes, ukulele and guitar in Montclair NJ, and am available as a drama, musical theatre and storytelling coach.

Sorry have never heard of him. France has a huge artistic community in all areas of the performing arts. I've been here since 1974 first in experimental theater then in storytelling living first in Burgundy and now in Lyon.
