About Me:: Scott often wears the hat of a cowboy storyteller and poet, but that is just a sampling of the wide variety of hats he has worn in life and story. He can transport you back to Grandma's house for milk and cookies or down to the bayou with his childhood companion, "Snappy the Amazing Pet Gator". Select audiences even enjoy his tales drawn from his days as a big city cop. Texas and cowboys, cops, landlords, historical, histerical, tall, short, or medium wide, Scott can spin a tale for you.

He is a past Pres. of the Houston Storytellers (OOPS and current again as of March 08), and has won notice for his work by several organizations, including his 2005 award as Louisiana's State Champion Liar. (Though, honestly no politicians were present in the competition.)

I enjoyed looking at your site. Though I'm really more of an urban cowboy, i appreciate the lore of the West. I tell some Pecos Bill Stories, and do a show about vaudeville where I include Will Rodgers and some of his rope tricks.

Renegades Cowboy Mounted Shooters, we have a large Ct. dairy and he is all cowboy. I'll show him the pictures of your ranch. He is 14 and lives the cowboy dream, I tell about it , love western stories and historical as well. Civil War is a specialty as wesll as Revolution. You are the second Texas teller I want to meet just from the bio on this list, just have to get down that way one of these days. On another note I have always wanted a chuck wagon! We have a collection of horse drawn vehicles but no chuck wagon - 2 milk wagons but then that figures. I think you will really like this site. There is such a diverse group of tellers you would have to go to a hundred festivals to see and hear all the material & people that are in here. An awesomne way to learn and share!
