We just bought our Motorhome about 6 months ago as a part of our retirement plan ( which is not going as expected due to gasoline prices ) ha ha . But we love it !!! We downsized our home and are waiting on the opportunity to retire my husband in a year or so. In the meantime he is working from home about 60% of the time which is nice for us !! We are now pouring a new concrete drive for the Motorhome and will be able to keep here her on our property for a change instead of storage fees. YEAH !!
But we love the folks we meet at RV Parks , such a friendly environment to be around !

Hey guys we are just getting going on this Storytelling thing...more listening than doing... But we love it nonetheless. We attended the Tejas storytelling and it was awesome ! There is a guy named Brick whom I will be getting to log on to this site.He is a natural storyteller in the Making and he is in the Austin area. Right now he sells mobile homes but he was a stand up comic and is very interested in getting into Storytelling beginning as a hobby and then maybe later as a partial income. More later... I have some appointments today. We are looking for a cheap retirement place in the HILL Country... and are looking at some property there. I mean cheap...$100,000 total pkg.. we need to keep some money for our 40 foot motorhome so we can afford the gasoline . ha ha But if anyone has any thoughts...let us know. We want to OWN our property though, no mobile home communities for us . haha Well hugs to all and nice to meet such a nice group of folks !

Hello, Mel and Bobbie, and Welcome!

Nice website you've got, and glad to know you're nearby - I'm here in God's Country, just an hour north of Austin on I-35. What's going on?
I was raised in Houston....started to say "grew up," but that would lead to more controversy.

This is an awesome site, you just need to take a bit of time to check it out - it is a tremendous asset to any teller's arsenal of support, friends, info and news.

Hope we can make connections soon -

Best Wishes for continued fulfillment and success on your Telling Journey -

Sincerely,

Tom Taylor (Deep in the Heart of Texas)
