You are to be commended for your goal of encouraging youngsters to read - that is a goal for many, if not most of the folks on this site.
I'm presently teaching half-days at an area high school, but, officially retired last summer, and I can assure you, one of my goals is the same as yours.
You have come to a 'gold mine' for tellers, and those who support it. Take the time to familiarize yourself w/ all that's available to you herein, and "go for it." Share your insights, ideas, concerns, goals, passions, questions, whatever - with us, and we'll do the same for you.
I'm glad you found your way here, I look forward to your contributions to the site, wish you all the best in your quest for helping our young to READ and, again, send my warm greetings and Welcome!

I see that you have already four good groups. Welcome to PS. This is the neatest place... Dianne de Las Casas has out done herself this time. YOU can upload video of yourself, place audio files right here on your page and pictures too. I hope you will. I am very anxious to hear your thoughts and ideas about applying storytelling. Check out my little social experiment... The Fishbowl. I am reworking my business practices right there on the street corner... lol It might be nuts but some people seem to be learning a lot about how to set their work up so I think it useful. Check it out.
